Dehradun, Nov 22 :Body building is fast becoming popular in the hill state as was evident by presence of world class body builders and large number of audience at an event here. MP K C Singh Bawa,
a member of the jury expressed happiness that the sports like body building, which ensured that the youth would become strong and healthy, were being encouraged in the hill state. Vinit Kala lifted Mr. Doon title in Dehradun Body Building Championship organised by Dehradun Body Builders Association at Rangers’ College Ground last night. Mukul Tomar was adjudged First Runner Up and Sudesh Kapoor, Second Runner up. Chief Guest, former cabinet minister Hira Singh Bisht, gave away the trophies to the winners. Mr. Doon was awarded a trophy and cash award of Rs. 21,000, Second Runner Up, trophy and cash award of Rs. 15,000 and Second runner Up, trophy and cash award of Rs. 11,000.
